Inspired by a neighbouring organic salt farm, Seasalt Restaurant is set in a traditional Balinese pavilion on a lotus pond. Serving both a contemporary menu and a range of Indonesian and Balinese favourites, Seasalt is also an integral part of the Alila Manggis Cooking School. Elegant and relaxed, the restaurant looks out on to the ocean and the resort’s beautifully landscaped grounds. Guests can also enjoy poolside and garden dining. Set beneath the tranquil coconut grove, the pool and extensive lawns are just a step away from the beach.
Alila Manggis opened the first cooking school in Bali and has the only East Balinese specialty programme on the island. The Alila Manggis Cooking School is where the team of chefs celebrate and share with you the true essence of the Balinese lifestyle through fascinating culinary adventures. Embark on the unique opportunity to experience the Balinese lifestyle up close and personal through journeys into the heartlands, oceans and local villages.
